For the past thirty years, Pamela Widerman and Nancy Nicholson have been good friends. They met when their daughters were competing in gymnastics together.
Nancy’s daughter used to call Pamela “Paloma.” That’s how Paloma Standard Poodles got its name! Coincidentally, Paloma means “little dove,” a symbol of peace in Latin.
*Poodle owners can attest that life with poodles can be peaceful, but they are very energetic dogs and lots of exercise. In addition, poodles need oodles of love!
Through the years, Pamela and Nancy have shared a wide variety of hobbies. Together they represent two women who love the standard poodle breed.
Nancy adores white standard poodles, while Pamela is enamored with true “inky” black standard poodles. Pamela and Nancy agree that nothing is as rewarding as breeding and showing their standard poodles!
